Citrus Roasted Carrots – Funktified Food Episode #21
In the last episode, Dan made roast potato foil dinners on a campfire and a couple people asked for more recipes using this technique. In this episode, Dan demonstrates another recipe using a similar technique. First, he’ll bake the carrots in foil with fresh herbs and citrus. Baking the carrots in the foil steams them, infusing the flavors and making the carrots tender. Then, Dan opens the foil packet allowing the carrots to roast and caramelize. Dan wrote and recorded a simple finger-style acoustic song as part of a songwriting challenge called ‘February Album Writing Month’ entitled ‘The Carrot Shuffle’ to accompany the episode. Director’s Notes-The Interns
We have two new interns this year, Marketing intern Alyssa Sattler and Production intern, Trammel Brown. Both are seniors at Michigan State University and will be helping out UnoDeuce Multimedia tremendously. In fact, this video was shot and edited by Trammel. Now that’s a start!
Capital City Stealth Breast Cancer Game Promo
The Capital City Stealth are hosting their annual breast cancer awareness game with an all day football themed affair on Saturday, May 12th on the campus of Olivet College. The festivities start at noon with an exhibition game between the Battle Creek Blaze and the Detroit Diesels. At 2:30 will be the powder puff football game and followed up with the Stealth’s second exhibition game versus the Grand Rapids Thunder at 4 PM. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Association’s Coaches vs. Cancer Campaign.
