The Stealth landed in Lansing this past weekend as they played their first regular season home game at Waverly High School. They continued were they left off last week against the Diesels as they outlasted the Storm winning 48-24 to go 2-0 to start the season.
The Capital City Stealth, Lansing Michigan’s Champion minor league football team, has their home opener on June 8, 2013 vs the Pontiac Storm at Waverly High School. Game time is at 7 PM. The Capital City Stealth (6-2) hosted the Detroit Seminoles (5-3) this past weekend at Mac Gobel Field in Charlotte, in a battle of two 5-2 teams fighting to remain in second place in the league standings and a chance for a second seed/first round bye in the playoffs. Both teams came into the game evenly matched and the game was predicted to be a shoot out by several players and coaches from other semi pro teams throughout the state
Capital City Stealth came off a bye week very prepared as they took on the Flint Rampage and defeated them handily 56-0 improving to 4 and 2 on the season.
The Capital City Stealth redeemed themselves by taking on the Oakland County Playmakers and defeating them handily 54-14 behind four TDs. by Quarterback Rick Gallegos. The Stealth are now 1-1 in league play
